free hand face lace
Creating freehand face lace
Below is an online reference

Starting off with eyebrow blocking. (pritt stick all over followed by full coverage foundation on top then using a warm darker tone on top of the brow. Powder on top of the brow to help it set. Then back to the full coverage foundation, use a sponge and dab the product on. Finish off by powdering)
We then went onto creating the freehand lace on top of the eyebrow blocking. We had a look at Phyllis Cohen's work. Below is an example of his work.

He is amazing and doing looks like these..
Holly used black acrylic paint by Mac and a 210 fine Mac brush. Holding your elbow with your other hand will help keep you steady. It's meant to look like its lace and not freehand. When you're doing the under eye, pull slightly as it might crease. The Mac acrylics are great for this kind of look as once they're dry, they don't move or crease. So we then created the look we wanted. Holly did hers freehand however she recommended to follow a picture especially for the first try. Taking the time for detail is necessary for this look. Holly then finished off with glitter. This was used to reflect the light and bounce off which looked great.
Below is Holly's Demo ;

I then tried it myself. I started off my blocking the eyebrow using Pritt Stick. My models eyebrows were quite thick but I think I managed to cover them fairly well.

My final look below ;

Over all I feel like I managed to do this fairly well. It didnt turn our to be the best design as I felt pretty nerbous and I didn't have the finest brush.. however It did turn out neat which I am happy about. I love the bottom section of the look rather than the top however it pulls together quite well. The purple lips and eyes gives the look a galaxy feel and made it more fun.
