Perfecting a Voluminous blow-dry

<- My inspiration for todays lesson was similar to Selena Gomez's hair style in this photo on the left. We were able to create and go back to perfect what ever we wanted therefore I felt like I wanted to perfect my straight blowdry however, I wanted to add some volume in the top of the hair. I think I managed to achieve this pretty well. I started off by sectioning thehair into 4 and taking small equal sections down. I blowdried normally however, To get the volume I wanted, Kanika showed me how to blowdry upwards. Therefore I took each section and pulled the hair upwards focusing on the hair closer to the scalp to volumise it.

I loved the volume in the route of the hair. I had never done anything like that and I realised that it really did make a difference as it made it bigger and higher. I think it's a very good technique to use on somebody who has very little or thin hair as it will give them a fuller look.
