A celebrated high-fashion hair stylist, Sam McKnight boasts a legendary career encompassing catwalks, editorials and advertising campaigns for an extensive list of clients that includes Chanel, Fendi, Balmain, Dior and Mulberry.

A regular contributor to American and British Vogue, McKnight has also styled for Dazed & Confused, Harpers Bazaar and i-D.

A long-time stylist for Princess Diana, McKnight styled the now infamous slicked back hairstyle in the 1990 Patrick Demarchelier shoot for Vogue, and travelled alongside the Princess for seven years during her charity work.

In 2008, McKnight was awarded the Lifetime Achievement honors at the Scottish Fashion Awards. The renowned hair-stylist also currently serves as the Global Ambassador for Pantene.

McKnight's ability to create a sexy modern glamour has brought invitations to work on catwalk shows by most international designers including Gucci and Prada. Recently, he has worked on a number of projects with Nick Knight for Vogue which is amazing.

Whilst continuing to work at this level, McKnight has also embraced a new generation of photographers, stylists and celebrities, continuing to make the images he works on fresh, sexy and immediate.

Celebrities are always top of Sam's client list and he has been behind some of their most recognizable images in recent history. They have included Nicole Kidman, Kylie Minogue, Madonna and many more.

Sam's accolades for his work are countless. They have included a 3-year consecutive win in the 90s for British Session Hairdresser of the Year and also picked up the coveted 'Venus' award in Paris and New York.

Sam consistently works with the designer of the moment, including campaigns, and shows for Giorgio Armani, Prada, Gucci, Chloe and Stella McCartney among others.

I love his work as he follows the trends however makes it creative and fun. His work now has a presence on runways, red carpets and fashion magazines internationally. He does so much work and still manages to make each one creative in a different way and that is something which keeps me highly inspired.
